Principal Risks

Active risk management helps us carry out our strategy, grow our business and achieve our purpose of energising a greener, fairer future.

To support a consistent and robust approach to risk management we have created a holistic framework of Principal Risks which supports us in delivering the Group's Strategy.

The Group Principal Risks are those which could potentially impact delivery of our strategic objectives over the medium to long term and are linked to our Group priorities.

Each Principal Risk is assessed in relation to the delivery of Group priorities and we determine the level of risk we are prepared to take with each Principal Risk being overseen directly by the Board or one of its committee.
