- Eco tech pioneer Hive launches Works With Hive allowing partner devices to be easily controlled through the Hive App.
- It is initially launching with five partners – including Fox ESS, Sunsynk, EO, Samsung and myenergi – with further planned this year and an ambition to connect 80% of net zero devices by the end of 2026.
Eco-tech pioneer, Hive has expanded its smart home energy management platform allowing net zero technology from across the market, to be easily controlled through its app for the first time – potentially helping millions more households to unlock significant cost and carbon savings.
Through Works With Hive, third-party devices will be able to connect seamlessly to the Hive App, with eco-tech products initially integrated including EV chargers and battery storage solutions. Connecting eco-tech devices through the Hive App, will give more households access to real-time insights about their energy use, cost savings, and carbon footprint – all in one place.
The full list of eco-tech connected so far includes leading brands Fox ESS and Sunsynk batteries and EO EV Chargers. With Samsung heat pump and myenergi EV charger owners, also able to connect their devices shortly, Hive is aiming to rapidly expand and integrate 80% of the net zero device market to the app by the end of 2026.

Hive has already transformed home energy usage in over two million homes, saving customers over 1.6 billion kilos of carbon through its energy efficient smart home technology, equating to £490 million in energy savings for customers.
By bringing together Hive and non-Hive devices on a single dashboard, customers benefit from a unified view of their home’s energy performance, helping them make informed decisions that reduce both their bills and environmental impact.
