With a portfolio that is predominantly gas (96%), Spirit provides vital, primary energy that fuels homes and business across the UK and Europe.
Today, Spirit and its 700-strong team, are pushing field life out and pulling net zero forwards, with a focus on meeting and de-risking their decommissioning obligations and exploring strategic energy transition opportunities like carbon capture use and storage (CCUS).
At MNZ our mission is to provide a permanent decarbonisation solution, converting the depleted South and North Morecambe gas fields off the coast of Barrow-in-Furness to provide a permanent, safe and secure carbon storage.
